QTG specializes in fabricating structural and mechanical steel tubing, jack posts and custom finished and semi-finished products. Formerly known as Quali-T-Groupe, Quali-T-Tube and Quali-T-Fab, the company is now dedicated to fabrication, as QTG, to support you in bringing your projects to life.
Giacomo and Dominic Talarico found Talarico Ltd. in Montréal. The small tin shop the two brothers established produces galvanized buckets and chimney pipes for local hardware stores.
The second generation of Talaricos decide to diversify the family business. Frank launches Bond Metal Finishers (BMF), specializing in hot-dip galvanizing, while Joe continues to operate under Talarico Ltd, specializing in heating and ventilation systems.
In 1969, BMF acquires Laval Fence Inc., a chain link fence manufacturer, and steers the family business toward manufacturing.
The third generation of Talaricos takes over the company.
In 1981, Frank Jr. acquires Conduits Condel, adding steel tube manufacturing to BMF’s—now known as Quali-T-Groupe—product line and cementing its reputation in the industry.
A fourth generation of Talaricos takes the helm of Quali-T-Groupe. Giancarlo, with his father Frank Jr.’s help, sets out to further the company’s growth and success by meeting clients’ expanding needs. Five years later, his brother Francesco comes on board to help fulfill this mission.
The beginning of a new chapter. Quali-T-Groupe divests its manufacturing division to focus solely on steel product fabrication. Quali-T-Groupe now goes by QTG Beyond Tubing.
